Even if you don't have XP it is worth a read of the site to get an understanding of the terms used with editing and also so very good tips for use with all editing software.Īs already staed these questions do get asked all the time, but I also understand that if you are new to editing its difficault to know what you are looking for. Forget this for getting video onto a PC and go with the firewire card/lead. If you didn't get a USB lead with the cam then I would guess it was an analogue video & audio lead for connecting to a VCR or TV.
